Content is king

Sometimes the oldest sayings are best – they’ve stood the test of time for a reason, after all.


Content is king is one of those and it’s been one that’s been ringing in my ears since the Autumn Fair at the NEC last month.



It was a great event, and the turnout was fab, which always helps when you’re filming content! 


Filming at showcases, exhibitions and events is one of my favourite things to do because it ticks so many boxes…


We filmed 3 highlight videos AND a testimonial video at the Autumn Fair for a client and I’ve got it all wrapped up a few days later.



Which is great because not only does it showcase what you do, it also shows that other people are interested in what you do, giving you evergreen content to use over the next year and beyond! 


It was a great way to kick off Autumn and I’m looking forward to getting out and about at more events over the next few months.



Capturing footage at events adds a level of legitimacy that’s hard to recreate…


Add in the fact that if it’s an industry-specific event, you’ll likely have clients and customers there, and you’ve got the perfect conditions for a really effective testimonial video.


And nobody can sell what you do better than people who’ve already been there, done that, and got the proverbial t-shirt, right?
