I’m the best videographer in Solihull, apparently…

Updated: May 7, 2024

I received an email the other day that caught my attention.

It said I was the Best Videographer in Solihull’.

Now, I’m always accepting of compliments, but my mind immediately started wondering what the catch was or when the ‘sell’ was going to come.

And sure enough, it did arrive…

The company that emailed me were telling me I’d won an award, and I could buy the digital badge, physical awards and loads of other material.

Given the context, I was surprised they hadn’t fired even more compliments at me – perhaps the most handsome videographer in Solihull?

Alright, maybe that’s a bit too far.

There was a slight problem, though – I never entered the awards.

The long and short of it was that you can’t trust everything you read in an email or on a website, but what does deliver trust in an instant is a video testimonial.

If they’d taken the time to get video testimonials on their site, I might have been more trusting… but there was probably a reason they hadn’t!

Video testimonials are one of the most authentic and genuine ways you can build trust in you and what you do.

They say that people buy from people, and who better to showcase why you’re the right option than your customers?

After all, they’ve been in the exact position your prospects are right now, considering whether to buy or not – and a testimonial could be the difference between pushing ahead or leaving it for now.

If you’ve got an upcoming project you want to speak about or you want to find out more about how customer testimonials could make a difference for you and your business, hit reply or give me a call on 07939 866195.

All the best,

Ben (The Video Guy)
