If you’re not first, you’re last

I’ll keep this one light on the politics because I think we can all agree that we’ve had plenty of that for the last few weeks…
But the changing of the guard, so to speak, did get me thinking about the concept of winning and how great it is.
Whether it’s the parents race at Sports Day, England at the Euros, Wimbledon, or even a General Election, there’s nothing quite like that winning feeling.
And as Will Ferrell’s character in Talladega Nights famously says, ‘if you ain’t first, you’re last’.
Sports might feel like the natural example to jump to when we think about competition and winning, but in a lot of ways, business is an even better example.
Because the competition never stops.
There’s always another day, another week, another client, another new customer, another chance to reach your goals.
The difference? Your definition of winning is entirely down to you.
And there’s never been a better time to capitalise by marketing yourself – producing and sending out content has never been more accessible.
With people consuming more video content than anything else on the internet today, there’s an opportunity to reach your market with the right message.
And not only is it accessible, but it’s also effective, simple, and relatively cheap to get results from it.
Price is always a factor in everything we do in business, but it’s never the only factor.
The good news is that I work with you to help create video content that gets results – that’s from the initial idea all the way through to completion.
Speak soon,
Ben (The Video Guy)
