It’s like Santa’s Grotto in here

I’ve reached an age where I’ve started to say things my parents used to say to me – unconsciously. 


The immortal words ‘it’s like Blackpool illuminations in here’ left my mouth when I was out with my friends the other day and it felt like the genie was out of the bottle.


It’s not a bad thing but it has made me realise how cyclical it all is and as Christmas ramps up to degrees never seen outside of Lapland.


Every shop’s like Santa’s Grotto, isn’t it?


And it’s at this time of year that attention turns inward, whether it’s finishing off crucial projects, getting deliveries out on time, and getting jobs ticked off.


But at some point, whether it’s after the Christmas party or before, there will be a time where you’re getting things planned for 2025.


While Christmas is taking up everyone’s headspace, there’s still room to consider what you want to achieve next year.


And if there’s a project, event or date that you’re planning in for next year, it might be worth thinking about how video could elevate it.


Maybe it’s highlighting that specific product, shouting about a new service, or getting your customers on video talking about why you’re the best at what you do!


Whatever it is, video has an important role to play – so, time to start thinking about 2025?
